About the Delilah Floral Design Process

The KOO Delilah Floral collection is the result of a close collaboration between our Manchester buying and design teams, combining trend direction with thoughtful design to create a collection that feels both contemporary and timeless. Inspired by the beauty of garden blooms, the artwork features layered florals and soft, painterly textures that add depth and visual interest. Paired with a refined contemporary colour palette, the design captures a calm, nature-inspired mood that brings the serenity of the outdoors into the home.

Inspiration Behind The Delilah Floral Design

Inspired by the natural beauty of Dahlias and Cosmos flowers, the KOO Delilah Floral collection captures the layered charm of a garden in bloom. Featuring a mix of statement florals, delicate daisies and intricate botanical details, the artwork creates a sense of depth and softness. The result is a fresh, contemporary design that brings the beauty and tranquillity of nature into your home.

Mediums Used To Create The Delilah Design

Trailing floral stems and clustered motif groups allowed for a very intuitive and playful approach to creating this artwork. Watercolour and gouache paints were used to achieve a painterly effect for the motifs used in this artwork. Oil pastels were used to create an abstracted texture background, emulating softened landscape shapes to give the artwork a sense of tactility and depth. The floral motifs were then scanned and digitally arranged into an oversized artwork, allowing the texture and brush strokes to be the hero feature.
